From press release 2:6:2017..

Following over 80 days of in-orbit testing, Hispasat 36W-1 satellite has finally be accepted into service.

The prime contractor for the satellite was OHB Systems AG, Germany. It was the result of a collaborative venture developing a new "European Small GEO" design involving ESA, OHB and Hispasat,

Transponders: 24 Ku band and 5 Ka band.
Coverage: Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands and South America
Launched: 28 Jan 2017
Size: 3.7 x 1.9 x 2m
Launch mass of 3200 kg
Dry mass: 1700 kg
Orbit position: 36 West
Alternative names: 41942, Hispasat 36W-1, Hispasat Advanced Generation 1 (HAG-1). You chhose !
